​With a theatrical savoir faire and a penchant for the stage Sugar Spanx dived into the wonderful world of burlesque and quickly found her dancing feet.

Sugar has performed in numerous shows throughout New Zealand and has also performed in New York City where she unleashes sassy and titillating performances and isn’t afraid to put a cheeky shot of comedy into her acts.

Sugar Spanx also produces the award winning The Rock n Roll Circus series of burlesque events and has also produced successful shows as part of the Hamilton Fringe Festival 2013 and 2016.  Sugar was nominated for Favourite Producer at the 2013 Golden Garters Awards and her show was a finalist for Favourite Production at the 2014 Golden Garters Awards and won the title in 2015.

Aside from performing and producing, Sugar also teaches at Glamilton Burlesque Academy and at hen's parties.
